Strathalbyn Agricultural Show

The Strathalbyn Show, held in the beginning of the spring show season for the Southern Fleurieu, showcases equestrian horses-in-action competition on the Sunday of the long weekend in October, with the show day for family fun held on the Monday public holiday. The show is located in the heart of the township. The show includes carnival rides, exhibits of sheep, dairy and beef cattle, alpacas, dairy goats, poultry, cut flowers, pot plants, floral art, cookery, preserves, home brew, needlework, art/craft, photography, eggs, grains, fruit, vegetables, plus product and trade sites.
